In short
The Household Advisor is a chat assistant inside SharedNest that answers questions using your own expenses, recurring bills, categories and goals. Ask why groceries rose, what a €200 monthly saving would do, or where the fixed costs are heaviest, and the answer cites your figures rather than generic averages.
What can you ask it?
Anything you would ask a patient friend who had read your ledger: where the money went, what changed, what a decision would cost, and what to do next.

How is your data protected?
Sensitive personal details are filtered before anything is sent for processing, responses are moderated, and the advisor only ever sees the household you are currently in. Private expenses stay private.
Fair-use limits cap how many questions can be asked per day per person, which keeps the feature available and stops automated abuse.
Does it give financial advice?
It explains your own numbers and suggests practical next steps. It does not sell products, recommend investments, or replace a regulated financial adviser — and it says so when a question needs professional input.
Where does it fit in the app?
Alongside Insights and the Monthly Snapshot. Insights surface patterns automatically — category ceilings at 80%, anomalies, subscription creep — and the advisor is there when you want to interrogate them in your own words.

Can I use it in solo mode?
Yes. In solo mode it answers about your personal finances only, which is often the clearest way to use it.
